Safe Updates by Nieto Creative is a great way to affordably know that everything you have built is not at risk of malware and vulnerabilities. Regular backups ensure that if anything should ever happen we have a solution ready at hand.

There are two ways to update websites: the wrong way, and the Safe Updates way

Only $5 a month (paid annually) your payment will auto-renew on your anniversary date. If you need to cancel just let us know.

Here’s how it works:

1. We create a restore point
2. We send an HTTP request to the website: Checking for site operation
3. Grab a “before” page screenshot: We will later compare it with the after screenshot to spot inconsistencies
4. We update plugin/theme/core
5. We send another HTTP request to the website: Checking for site operation after update
6. We automatically roll back on error: If issues are found.
7. Grab an “after” page screenshot
8. Show the screenshot comparison: We will see the before/after screenshots of the chosen page, and have the option to roll back if you see something out of place
